Over the past 83 years, the substantial contribution and dedication to holding exceptional Projects and Functions have shaped the Society’s prominent prestige and reputation. The concerted and earnest exertion of the past 83 Cabinets has distinguished our Society at The University of Hong Kong. 

Moving forward to the 84th year, the current Cabinet will make every endeavor to serve our precious Members with passion and we will devote ourselves to fulfilling our missions. We are truly honored to continue the legacy of Economics and Finance Society BEA HKU. As the Chairman of the current session, I desire to lead the current Cabinet to go above and beyond to reach new heights. We will stand by our slogan this year, “Determined to Rise, Aspired to Shine”, in order to inherit the Society’s professional and prestigious image. The current Cabinet, which is symbolized by our Theme Object, the Butterfly, will organize marvelous and unrivaled activities for our Members with grandness. In the coming year, we will work as a unit and further develop the reputation of our Society. 

After all, we will proceed with nurturing future business leaders and offer students opportunities to acquire knowledge regarding economics and finance. Upholding the professional image of the Society through “Commitment to Excellence”, we will strive for excellence with all our might. Last but not least, I would like to express my profound and earnest gratitude to every one of you for joining us at The 84th Inauguration Ceremony.
